Assume that all fresh water in Florida contains alligators. Also remember, it's the ones you DON'T see that are dangerous.

I was in Arizona a few years ago. People said that there used to be more surface water. Maybe they too need beaver.

Beaver are actually making a come back in all states, with the exception of Hawaii, where they never existed. They are being used by the BLM and ranchers out west to help store water and subirrigate riparian adjacent pastures and restore riparian areas.
